Goodnight

Goodnight blog, Goodnight twitter

Goodnight Facebook and all the time you took.

Goodnight feedburner, google reader, and friend feed.

Goodnight email that always is in need.

For when I wake up I will be on vacation, unplugged and free.

Do not fear some of my favorite posts are set to run from me.

When I return new adventures will be on the horizon, and old ones will be closed.

Goodnight Book Buzz, I can not begin to tell you how you have blessed me.

+++++++++++++

I am republishing some favorite posts next week. And the Ezekiel study will run each Friday as planned. I am stepping away from the computer to renew, fresh, and rejuvenate. I have not shared much, but the last few weeks I have been struggling with things behind the scenes. As I leave on this trip I leave knowing some doors are closing, but I know when I return home God has wonderful new adventures for me on the horizon (he just has not shared them with me yet ;) ).

I pray you are blessed by the Ezekiel study on Fridays because I have to tell you God is doing a number on my heart. But take your time on the study, they are words to be soaked in.

I will be checking email periodically but if it is not pressing I most likely will not reply until the end of the week, so don’t think I am ignoring you ;) .

I am very excited to inform you Pearl Girls: Encountering Grit, Experiencing Grace is now available for purchase on Amazon. As you can see from my side bar, I am a contributor. But seriously the devotions in this book are wonderful and there are many well known names through out the book!

See you when I return, but enjoy some of my favorite posts while I am gone! An no worries I am sure I will have TONS of pictures to share (especially if I catch the big fish this year!).

2008 Christmas Tour of Homes

BooMamaChristmasTour WELCOME!

If you are new to my site, I am Laurel. Thank you so much for stopping by! Don’t stand out there looking inside.

I saved you a seat and made some cookies for you to snack on.

Below are some favorite ornaments we have around here. The Santa one is one my father in law had on his tree while growing up. The angle was given to me by my Mom many years ago. She has one of the sweetest faces I have ever seen. I love the look of simple wreaths and glass balls.

The Wallace Silversmiths Annual Gold Christmas Bell is an ornament that has been given to me every year I have been married (either by my Mother in Law or Sister in Law). They are one of my most treasured ornaments. Kitty wanted to know what the heck I was doing with my camera and why was he not part of the action. As you can see, Tug (my doggie) was just fine where he was thankyouverymuch. As far as snowmen, these are the only snowmen we get here in Florida.

Letters to Santa have already been written and posted on the tree. We want to make sure it is not missed.

When my kids were younger (all the way up to their 10th birthday), my mother in law would buy them a new ornament each year. These ornaments will go with them when they move away. The other picture are the decorations that I placed on my high shelf.

Lets sit by the Christmas tree and enjoy some time. I would love to hear how God moved in your life during this last year. I know I am blessed to have made many new friends.

When you come into my house you may have to move laundry around to grab a seat, but I want you to feel comfortable.

Come on in and take a load off!  Put your feet up with me, I would love to know more about you.

Be sure to check out the “Tour of Homes” hosted by BooMama over here.

Beach Runaway

(click on picture for a bigger image)

I want to thank you so much for all the comments you made concerning my rambling post. I can not begin to tell you how God used your comments to speak to me. I did run away to the beach on Sunday, it calmed and refreshed me. But boy am I red….sometimes I have no brain because I went to the beach on the fly and forgot sunscreen. Just call me tomato =)
