Ok this photo has nothing to do with the post but it sure made me smile.

I like the computer, it is safe.  Well God does not call us to be safe, he wants us to step beyond our abilities and become a light for Him.  This will be my thoughts for next week as I will be preparing for a speaking engagement that I have the following Saturday.  I wish I could tell you it will be in front of women I don’t know, so if things don’t go as planned I can walk away.  Oh no, this is in front of women who have shaped my own spiritual life.

I am honored the Lord has presented me with this opportunity, that does not mean my human self would rather hide under my covers.  But I will put my big girl panties on Saturday and know the Lord will carry me through.  I am excited to share the thoughts the Lord has laid on my heart, and for over a month I have been praying for each woman who will be there.  I may not know each of their names or faces but God does.  And if only one person shows up, I am still excited because God chose me to tell that one person what he has laid on my heart.

So why do I tell you this:

1. I would GREATLY appreciate your prayers on the 25th.

2. I will be scarce this week, but feel free to email. I do have some posts set to run showing you some pictures I have taken recently. =)

3. I have read a series of great books this last month, but it sure wreaks havoc with my sleep schedule (but I can not wait to share them with you – one of them I can share on the 27th — dang publisher’s rules ).
