Sunshine State and Full Disclosure

Surfsunrise011808I live in the “Sunshine State” and we have what is called the Sunshine Law. The Sunshine Law states:

Florida’s Government-in-the-Sunshine law provides a right of access to governmental proceedings at both the state and local levels.

Ok so I am not government nor am I of state and local levels, but I do believe in full disclosure. Or at least telling loyal readers what is up =)

If you notice way over there on my far right sidebar you see I have added a tiny Google Ad Sense advertising box, I also have one in my “About Me” page and my “Book Review” page.

side note:

I want to say this information is what I have decided for MYSELF, and those of you who advertise to help cover cost I support you. Anyways…

I added the Google Sense and I do make a few pennies writing for MrsDealFinder each Thursday, but I want to let you know everything I make with those two I turn around and give it back to Mary (100% of it). I don’t need these items for me to support her, but it makes it a bit easier. I know I did not need to disclose this, but some of my long time readers know I have never had “ads” on my site and may be wondering why the change. I may slowly add some more or may just leave it as it is. If it makes a few pennies that help, then I am happy and I can possibly send more than my monthly support, if it does not, then we are no less for the wear as they say.

So if you see something interesting or you stop by and click on the ad’s know that whatever is generated (here and at MrsDealFinder I give back 100%). For me personally I consider my personal blog, my ministry. Yes, I spend money on a hosting service (believe me for this girl who likes to get her self in jams, it is worth every penny!), and yes there are a few other things I use my own money for. But money generated from Ad Sense and MrsDealFinder will not be used towards those expenses.

Ok now I got that full disclosure off my chest, is there anything else you would like to know….ask away!

Yahoo, Google, so what leads you here?

When you search for something on yahoo or google, etc… you don’t always get exactly what you searched for. Below are a few things people searched for and ended up landing here:

taming rafe
- Those looking for a review on this book, it is under my Book Reviews tab. And by the way it is a great book

Christian things that make you go hmmmm
– Ok this one had me laugh out loud; I know I make my husband go “hmmmm” half of the time. I guess I make some of you in bloggyland do the same. =)

jung typology
– I get a lot of hits for the Jung Typology test. By the way I am ISFJ, and here is the post. If you are trying to figure me out, so is my husband and he has been married to me for 14 years. =)

wreaths – I know it is kind of misleading, I don’t make wreaths, nor do I advertise wreaths. I am seriously thinking I should. Any advertiser who sell wreaths, let me know.

football pic
– Yes, you will find football pictures here of my personal superstars. But hey, what are you doing googling my sons (hehhe). I already have to beat the girls away.

small batch of white chocolate chex mix – this recipe is to die for. Here is the recipe.. Excellent for gifts at Christmas time.

son’s buzz cut & Mohawks/ boys that are 14 that have mohawks – Yes, my youngest son got a Mohawk—no, I am not proud of it—I blame his father. Now I am at the top of the search engines for “weird boy cuts.” HA!

www.laurelwreathsreflections.com – Ah look someone was actually looking for me, this one makes me feel special.

How ever you found me, I am so glad you are here. I would love to learn more about you.
