Looking Back

Happy Saturday!

Thank you for allowing me to share my Mother’s heart this last week.  If you miss any of my posts they are here, here, here, here, and here.

First off I would covet your prayers on Monday. I am talking to a group of Mother’s reminding them there is life after diapers. My prayer is that I don’t cry, preparing for this talk has me realizing how quickly my boys are growing. I enjoy this time right now, their ages, etc.. Unfortunately I know God has big plans for them. Each day they continue to grow and develop and one day (too) soon, they will be moving on to the life God has planned for them.

Here are some great links worth your time:

God uses little children, even today.

Do you know Jon Acuff?  You should he is famous.  Unfortunately I could have written this post. (maybe because my love language is words of affirmation)

Can you click over to this post and read a few of the comments and lift at least two different people up in prayer.

I loved this quote on this post:

“This is the tragic story of humanity today. There is a glorious city where the gates are open and the joys are endless, but the masses aren’t looking for it.” Head on over to read the rest, you will be blessed.

20 minutes to change your marriage!

Looking Back

Each week I will try to highlight posts that touched my heart. I am queen of emailing posts to my family saying “read this!” This year I will try to give you a weekly list of posts that touched me and would be worth your time reading. So welcome to the family, I am saying “hey this is a great read when you have a moment!”

Blog posts that are 500 words or less are better. I have to concur.

I made Pioneer Woman’s Steak Bites this week. Let’s just say my normally non-complimenting son said, “MOM these taste PROFESSIONAL!”  To say they were a hit, is an understatement. And guess what, they are easy. If I can make them ANYONE can make them.

Radical Womanhood talks about he US Airways plane accident that happen this week and I could not have said it any better.

This Saturday it is short, I am sick and my head feels like a bolder is sitting on it. Hopefully I will emerge Monday rested and feeling better. Have a great weekend!
