I saw theblogfrog on several different sites and was curious. So I added it to my site to see what the benefit was. First and most importantly the BEST benefit are the owners. Seriously I don’t think you could find a nicer, more helpful group of people. Ok enough frog behind kissing, I have not heard good reviews of frog butt. Have you? Frog legs yes….. Ok I will stop.

That aside, this is what I have noticed:

1. It is like a blogroll on steroids or should I say a frogroll with unlimited lily pads. (I crack myself up)

2. If you are listed in my blogroll a pretty picture of you or whatever picture you decide, shows up. So when the next visitor stops by my place they say, hey that person has a really cute name, or that baby is cute, or she looks like my type of gal, then they click on your picture and hop on over to your site. We are just different frogs in the same big pond hopping from one lily pad to another.

3. Another benefit of theblogfrog if you so chose, “is that it also serves as a personal blog directory. It helps you find blogs by High School, College, Email, and more. TheBlogFrog can even suggest bloggers you probably know, just by looking at your blog.” Personally there are only one or two people I care to keep in contact with from high school, because well they knew me when I had zits. Some how you form a bond through that.

But what I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED was that through theblogfrog, it connected me to other MOB’s (moms of boys). Seriously we need to stick together, especially if you ONLY have boys.  Theblogfrog helps you find people that share similar interests, or even widen your group of blog friends. Because hey you can’t have to many friends!!  Especially blog friends, because you can sit in front of them with your teeth not brushed or hair messed up and they will still talk to you. What more could you ask for? By the way, one of the founders of theblogfrog, Holly, is a fellow MOB. So I automatically adore her.

Also I will tell you a little secret, on theblogfrog it gives you updates on when your friends have posted. I check this before I check my google reader. I’m just saying…

Oh and another little secret I have begun dumping sharing links that feed the geeky side of me on my “Community Page.”

What is a community page you ask? Well it is a place we can sit and chat and talk to one another, it is like being in a girl circle and trading your best secrets (decent guys welcome also). You can add things, I can add things…..it is pretty cool. So if you have a secret geeky side or you just want to chat, visit my Community page. And if you think I am speaking Greek, then email Holly. She can explain, she is so much wiser.

Changing the subject: (that is for all the male readers. Hubby says I jump from one topic to another with out telling him I am changing the subject.  Mom and I can sit a the table and say half sentences and totally understand each other, I don’t know what the deal is??)

I have noticed a few things:

1. There is some sweet person or persons (Mom is it you?) that googles my name to find me. I would suggest three things, one theblogfrog (see above).

Ok ONE LAST THING. I would not be me, if I did not give you a spiritual lesson on frogs. Well it is not me but my blog friend Sheila…you have to watch her minute video here. She had me cracking up.
