My Thanksful Thursday Mother’s Day Tribute

 

 

1. I am thankful I have a Mom that is my biggest cheerleader.
2. Mom was from a family of 5, family has always been very important to her.
3. I am thankful I can share everything with her, and know she will give her honest opinion.
4. I am thankful I have a Mom who has demonstrated what being a good wife looks like.
5. I have a Mom that gave me the desire to know God more. I remember her telling me bible stories all the time growing up.
6. I have a Mom that shows us what giving looks like, by always giving of herself.
7. I have a Mom who loves her grand kids more than life.
8. I am thankful Mom is only a phone call away to cry to when life hits hard. I am thankful Mom rejoices with me whenever I have great news.
9. Mom is like the two pictures above, feminine and tough all wrapped into one
10. More importantly I enjoy just sitting around a living room doing nothing, each of us reading a book, but enjoying having each other around. She is my favorite person to hang out and do nothing with.Mom, Happy Mother’s Day. I thought I would surprise you a few days early with some nice words. I enjoyed hanging out with you last week. Can’t wait to see you at Christmas.

    Although my mom being 6,000 miles away, we are still very close. I love just chatting with her on Saturday morning, talking about my challenges I face here in the US…I wish she would be able to read my blog, but her English is not good enough to have a beautiful post like yours.

  23. What a beautiful tribute to your Mom. Now that I am a Mom (this will be my 2nd Mother’s Day), I have come to appreciate my Mom soooooooo much more. I know how much I love my daughter and all that I feel for her and knowing that my Mom has those same feelings for me is amazing.
