I just stumbled across your blog and found this post to be very interesting.  I agree that the church should spend their money wisely and strive to help others less fortunate.  
However, if you look at history people made sure the most beautiful building in the city was the house of God.  The put forth their time and effort to bring honor to HIS house.  Sadly nowadays people are more concerned about making their own homes large and beautiful.  It really does come down to the priorities of the congregation.  Sadly, I think too many people don&#039;t care how God&#039;s house is presented anymore.</description>
