“Even today we wound God when we seek other idols. God reminds us in a powerful way, we may seek advice, we may go to counsel BUT it is God who will answer us. We have become a society today that makes our idols look pretty.”

So true, AMen. I am constantly asking the Lord to help me lay down my idols. It isn't pretty to admit, but sometimes I find them hidden in my heart when I make myself fully available to the Lord. (sigh) I want to love Him with absolutely everything I've got!
