I was critiqued, saw this at Beckie’s Child of God site, and then I submitted my site. The unbiased opinion is:
This is like a spa blog. If you’ve ever walked into a spa with the sound of water trickling and soft music playing then you can imagine what Laurel’s blog is like. It’s very calming and peaceful feeling and it’s a refreshing change. This mother of 3 boys is a christian who writes about life…love…and her beliefs, but not in a stomp on the stage and raise your hands as deadly snakes bite at your toes, kind of way. Instead her style is gentle and inspiring which makes this blog a must read for an escape from the everyday.
(and no my Mother did not write it you guys! hehehe) You can see for yourself at Critique My Blog
PS I am sure glad there is no snakes here either =))
The colors and the words are soothing, I agree.
Well, Laurel, I couldn’t agree more!
Congratulations!
Diane
Hmm…this sounds neat! I couldn’t agree more with her thoughts on your site. Now, do I dare open myself up enough to have my own site critiqued?
I think they got it just exactly right. Don’t you feel great? That’s a lovely critique. I don’t know if I’m brave enough to try…
Oh, I am so not brave enough to do that. I think they hit the Laurel right on the Wreath, though. It IS nice here.
How sweet and I totally agree:-)
How cool. I guess, I can say that Beckie, Laurel and Jennifer made me do it. I will give it a shot. But then again, I don’t think I will get a good one like you and Beckie…
Still catching up on TT
It will be long night tonight on my laptop – hehehe…
BTW – I am glad too that no snakes are crawling around here, but I hear the Bible pages turned.
Blessings to you evening and always…
Just what I expected Laurel. I’m not surprised a bit and totally agree! I’m sure Iris will get a good one too. Guess I should have said that you don’t need to publish the results if you don’t like it.
Blessings to you Laurel.
Sounds like a pretty accurate critique! Love from TN.
Great critique! I agree with it 100%.
And thanks for the snakeless atmosphere. That wouldn’t be very spa-like.
That is too funny and so true! I would love to go to Charleston by the way, make sure you tell us all about that. I am ducking out now to spend a much needed weekend away from my house with my hubby!
Happy Friday
