Work’s For Me Wednesday

by Lori

This is another edition of Shannon’s Works-For-Me Wednesday head on over there for tons of tips.

Today my tip is whenever I buy the large bulks of meat at Wal-Mart they come in nice plastic white containers. I run the containers through the dishwasher and then use them in my bathroom closet to hold and organize different items. (see picture below)

Well, I never thought of keeping those things. What a great idea. I am always looking for plastic containers to keep things in and those Wal-Mart meat containers are just the right size, now that you mention it. Thank you for that great tip

Great Tip! I know how hard it is to find “perfect” containers for all the boys stuff. From one mom of 3 boys to another! :)

I use left over containers too (like coffee cans and such) but I’ve never thought of the meat trays! That cracks me up. I have to try this. They look great to use during craft time.

You have a beautiful blog–I love your template!

The only tip I can think of quickly is my favorite one: asking my man to pick up rotisserie chicken from the supermarket! Hooray!

Oh that ROCKS! Our Wal-Mart doesn’t sell meat (we’re in Canada) but when they do you can bet I’ll go buy some just for the containers!

TFS!

Good tip. I actually reuse those containers to store indv. burgers in after I make them but this is another great use for them. Thanks for visiting my blog today.

How smart you are to reuse those trays! I bet I could put that to use in my laundry/catch-all room. Thanks for this idea, and for visiting my WFMW too! :)

These meat trays are great for lots of things. I’ve always saved them to send cookies and baked goods to school with the kids or home with friends. These things are styrofoam so they don’t break down in the environment. Makes me feel “green” to reuse them.

Welcome to blogging by the way. Your blog design is so pretty.
