Works For Me Wednesday

If you have a gmail account they now offer Google calendar (possibly available without a gmail account not sure).

Calendars with web content events and special icons
We’ve added a new calendar format with a little extra eye candy. These calendars have small icons at the top of the day when there’s new information.

You can have several calendars that keep different items. I have decided to do a “Whats for dinner” calender. As I cruise ya’ll’s lovely blogs and I come up with a recipes I would like to try I copy and past it to one of the days in the calendar, that way I have the recipes where I can get to easy, and I can plan my week.

So far this has worked for me. Head on over to Shannon’s for more great tips.

  1. My husband has been telling me about this. I’m going to have to check it out. I love the “What’s for dinner” idea.

  2. My hubby set me up with this a few months back! He swears by it because we can have “joined” events. He’s funny like that. And, I like how it sends you an email reminding you of birthdays, events, etc. i.e. Like my sister’s birthday yesterday! (Yes, unfortunately for her she was born on Halloween!)

    Great WFMW!

  3. that is cool! I just started using the calendar on Yahoo, but I think the google one might have better gizmos. Holly’s (Holly’s Corner) mentioned it too.

  4. Computer calendars sound like a great idea but I just don’t get how to use them. It would take me so much more time, so I always end up using a paper calendar with lots of post its and multiple to do lists!
