As you can tell, I'm a bit behind in my blog reading Lori. Thanks for the link to my Grandpa story! I'll have to do another post on what happened after I published that story. I now have several "new relatives". They read the post when they did a Google search on my maiden name; Sumstad. I have a great story to share. Maybe on Wednesday's post I'll do it since I'm enjoying that meme.

Hello Lori:
I just came across your blog on the blogfrog widget on my page, and I'm so glad I did. We have a great deal in common.

I'm surrounded by testosterone, too . . . four boys. My oldest is sixteen and is more than ready to get his license, but I'm not ready yet. He also has a Mohawk, but he's had it for a year, now. It started out being a summer cut, though. LOL

I would like to invite you to participate in Blog it Forward, explained on my blog. You seem like a very inspirational person, which is what Blog it Forward is all about. Please feel free to stop by and sign up.

<a href="http://momsgreatescape.blogspot.com" rel="nofollow">Mom's Fortress of Solitude</a>

Take care,

Angela

I take it you don't particularly like his new haircut? LOL

It's a real show stopper when your oldest gets his driving permit - everything changes very quickly from that point onward. But after you get over the shock, it's kind of nice when one of your kids can run errands for you. And for at least the first several months, they're so excited about driving, they don't even mind! That changes quickly too. :-)
