Living The Life

 

Alive…yes. (for all two of my readers, which is just fine with me right now)

Why do I still have this blog? Maybe I think I will get back to it one day and plus sometimes I need the creative outlet in designing new styles.

My heading is where I am right now. Living the life: Surround by Irritants, becoming a pearl. I am definitely God’s work in progress.

Things that have rocked my world lately:
1. Son graduating.
2. College
3. Working full time
4. Other two sons both in high school
5. Starting the college, tests, etc.. all over with second son.

I don’t want to miss a minute of these fun, emotional, roller coaster times with my boys.  Having my oldest son graduate made me realize,  I only have 4 more years and they will all be gone.  That really hit.  Hit me so much so, I turned down a higher paying job at work (that would require more of a commitment).

The money would have been nice, but I only have 4 more years.

One thing I did accomplish is being selected as one of the contributors for Margaret McSweeny’s second Pearl Girls book: Mother of Pearl: Luminous Lessons and Iridescent Faith.
