I don’t get political (to much) on this blog, but I think we all need to stop and laugh. Last night it felt good to laugh, this was from Alfred E. Smith dinner. In case you missed it, enjoy.
McCain Part I
McCain Part II
Obama Part I
Obama Part II
Didn’t that feel good at least for a moment.
In all seriousness, go out and vote November 4th!
It was a bit of comic relief in the midst of all the negative campaigning. I loved John McCain’s comment about Oprah’s man and then he called him “that man”. It’s good to laugh and healthy for us too.

These are great — better than the debates in many ways.
Thanks for sharing!
I loved the roast. I thought McCain was hilarious. He has good comedic timing that made him come off really funny. I’d rather have the roasts than the debates, for sure! So much more personable and fun to seem them in a more lighthearted setting.
Happy weekend,

I saw these clips a few times on the news. So funny!
But you know what? I couldn’t help being really disturbed at the ease and genuinely friendly rapport these two shared. It proved in spades just how much of this election is political theater! Meanwhile, the country is divided, average Joes are being scrutinized and people are taking it all very personally! It would seem the McCain-Obama contest is very real and upsetting for everyone–everyone but the main players, that is.
