Good morning! I just stumbled upon your blog via Lysa's - what fun!

1) I've not read anything by Mary Pierce, but I'm intrigued by the title “When Did I Stop Being Barbie and Become Mrs. Potato Head?” - it sounds delightful! And I love to read books by someone with a good sense of humor; it helps me to absorb what someone is trying to teach me.

2) Well, having had to look up "Mule Day", there were several to choose from. The one I looked at was celebrated in Winfield, Alabama. I do think though that rather than viewing a parade of all kings & sizes of mules, I would choose to check out the arts & crafts, the flea market and the "Old Time Lane" where you get to see how different old time daily activities, such as storytelling and authentic living were done.

3) I'm not familiar with MrsDealFinder, but by glancing at the site, I would love to see about getting some used books at a really good price. One of my biggest purchases online is used books, but they're not always available at a good price.

While I love to get shabby chic home decorating items (another large part of my online purchases!) when I find something I like at an acceptable price, I prefer to find items in a "shabby" state and re-purpose them into something more "chic".

I enjoy coming across new blogs, and meeting new, interesting people through them. Thank you! Leslie
