I sponor a child in Kenya, named Mary.  You can read about her here, here and here.  She teaches me so much in each of her letters and with each letter she ends it in a bible verse.  Some way it is exactly the bible verse I need to read at that particular moment, I love how God does that and I can not wait until she is older so I can tell her how much God used her to touch me.

But what I love is that not only do I get letters from Mary herself, but I recently got a letter from the pastor who ministers to Mary.  It was so informative.  It laid out exactly what they are doing for Mary.  I want her and her family’s physical needs to be met, but I want to make sure her spiritual needs are met also.  This letter only confirms how much I believe in Compassion International.  When you begin you think you are helping them out, but in reality you get so much back.
