Lori's Reflections

You got it, a 14 year old birthday party. Last night I let my son and his friends stay up as long as they wanted. They were very good and sometimes, while sitting in the bedroom I wondered if they had gone to sleep. Around 2:30AM I realized they had not because the quiet young boys became very loud young boys (I think the ice cream cake, chips, cookies, pizza, donuts all hit). Soon after, they did fall asleep and we all survived. But after everyone had left, I laid down and I crashed this afternoon. I don’t think “all nighter’s” are possible for this young Mom any more. Ha.

Happy Birthday honey, can’t believe you are 14. In my mind you are still 2. Can’t believe you are entering high school this year. I don’t want to miss a single moment!
