Oh, Lori. You don't even know. Last year was the worst year of our lives, and followed two increasingly terrible years. Our faith has been tried and tested beyond what we thought we could endure, and yet here we are, with manna for each day. We are healthy and together and miraculously have been able to keep our home so far. Anything else is icing on the cake. Sadly, we know so many others are in our situation.

You really struck a nerve here Lori. I needed to read this post today. How true your words are. My future is very uncertain right now. But what I do know is that my God is sovereign and there's a purpose for what I'm going through, even if I don't understand now.

I'm missed you my friend. It sounds like you had fun in the snow. Can't wait to see the photos.
