Mary looks incredibly sweet and there is absolutely nothing like getting letters from your new child. My "daughter" Gabrialle is from Indonesia, I have been sponsoring her for 5 1/2 years and it has been SUCH a joy to "watch" her grow. When I first started sponsoring her, she had to have her sister write her letters for her. Now, she writes about all sorts of things. This past year, I fell head over heels for a little boy named Mark in Kenya. He's not a Compassion child, I sponsor him through Christian Ministries in Africa (they have 3 orphanages in Kenya - a wonderful ministry) and I am looking forward to watching him grow & change, too.
