Ha! Yes, definite benefits! My 6 year old is really starting to help out this summer and I’m impressed with how much it helps me. Now, if we could only teach her to mow
Well I do hate to brag, but REAL happiness is living in a parsonage where the lawn gets cut by the same service that does the church…lol

Ha…I could really post a photo like this too. My question is, how is it they can seem to mow so much faster than we can??? lol

Though it seems 2 year olds like to unfold folded clothes and empty a DIRTY dishwasher… *sigh* She got it a little backwards

That’s great! (Though I understand the bittersweet twist to it.) My husband keeps asking when our oldest (who’s 9!) can start mowing the lawn. I tell him he’s still got a few years left, I think.
Wow! Look how tall he is! Yep. It’s great when they finally reach the age they can do things like this to help out. I remember being so scared when Krissy got her driver’s license…right up until I needed something from the grocery store and she volunteered to go get it. It’s great! And he’s extremely handsome.
That is wonderful…sometimes I can’t even get the hubby to do that.

Couldn’t agree more! I can’t wait for the day my oldest can do that — nor can he actually! He keeps asking if he can mow the lawn!
Oh, he’ll be able to make some money these summers if he plays his cards right…

I have one that can do that too!!! I agree, it makes me very happy.
My oldest who is 13 mows the lawn most times! It is quite a blessing to my husband (and me!) to be able to pass on this job!!
