I can not begin to tell you how giddy I am. I am sad they are getting older, but there are some definite benefits!!

My oldest who is 13 mows the lawn most times! It is quite a blessing to my husband (and me!) to be able to pass on this job!!

Wow! Look how tall he is! Yep. It's great when they finally reach the age they can do things like this to help out. I remember being so scared when Krissy got her driver's license...right up until I needed something from the grocery store and she volunteered to go get it. It's great! And he's extremely handsome.

That's great! (Though I understand the bittersweet twist to it.) My husband keeps asking when our oldest (who's 9!) can start mowing the lawn. I tell him he's still got a few years left, I think. :)

That's awesome! We keep telling Shay she needs to start "earning her keep" :) Though it seems 2 year olds like to unfold folded clothes and empty a DIRTY dishwasher... *sigh* She got it a little backwards :) One of these days. Now you just need a shot of middle son doing the dishes and youngest son vacuuming!

Ha! Yes, definite benefits! My 6 year old is really starting to help out this summer and I'm impressed with how much it helps me. Now, if we could only teach her to mow :)
