Happiness is having a son who can do this…

Happiness is having a son old enough to do this....

I can not begin to tell you how giddy I am. I am sad they are getting older, but there are some definite benefits!!

  1. Ha! Yes, definite benefits! My 6 year old is really starting to help out this summer and I’m impressed with how much it helps me. Now, if we could only teach her to mow :)

  2. Ha…I could really post a photo like this too. My question is, how is it they can seem to mow so much faster than we can??? lol

I’ll be praying for you and your family as you make your drive to beautiful Minnesota. In fact, I’ll be sure to face 35W…and wave occassionally!!!

The temps are GREAT…so I know you’ll have an AMAZING time while visiting.

    Kim~

  3. That’s awesome! We keep telling Shay she needs to start “earning her keep” :) Though it seems 2 year olds like to unfold folded clothes and empty a DIRTY dishwasher… *sigh* She got it a little backwards :) One of these days. Now you just need a shot of middle son doing the dishes and youngest son vacuuming!

  4. That’s great! (Though I understand the bittersweet twist to it.) My husband keeps asking when our oldest (who’s 9!) can start mowing the lawn. I tell him he’s still got a few years left, I think. :)

  5. Wow! Look how tall he is! Yep. It’s great when they finally reach the age they can do things like this to help out. I remember being so scared when Krissy got her driver’s license…right up until I needed something from the grocery store and she volunteered to go get it. It’s great! And he’s extremely handsome.

  6. Couldn’t agree more! I can’t wait for the day my oldest can do that — nor can he actually! He keeps asking if he can mow the lawn!

  7. My oldest who is 13 mows the lawn most times! It is quite a blessing to my husband (and me!) to be able to pass on this job!!
