I baked just for you….

by Lori

Some days you just need to throw in the towel…….

Laundry you can wait the
boys can wear their jeans a second day in a row.

Dishes, get behind thee.

Dinner is in the crock-pot.

Hubby is not feeling well.

Life has been hitting on all sides.

So what is a girl to do?

Why call up her best friend Nestle, and make a date.

For all my close bloggy friends, all the people who leave me comments, and for all you lurkers, I just want to say:

“Curl up….I have some warm coffee, and I baked you some cyber cookies as a big thank you for just being the person God made you. “

(sorry to tease you Dad,
but trust me these ones are fat free,
you can eat as much as you want this way)

Good for you! Baking does it for me, too. :-) I need to do a LOT of baking. LOL Happy over-the-hump day to you, too, my friend.

Yummy looking cookies. I am glad you chilled from life and baked. I too like to bake…it is food for the soul more than food for the body.

Thanks for coming by…blessings and happy, happy, happy day.

BTW, I ran up and down the hall last night just to get our 7 year old to smile…he was a bit grumpy. It worked…kind of!

Thanks! Luckily we’re thinking of baking today but boy are you making my mouth water.

Yum! I love baking!

We’ve had sick people here for going on the third week now. It just keeps getting passed along. Maybe that’s what I need to do – bake some cookies.

I’m a lurker…occassional commenter! :) Thanks for the cookies and for the blessing. I needed that!

No, no, no. I want those in reality. Send me a little care package of those little delights, would ya? They look as if they’ll hit the spot!

And I’m glad to see that you have your priorities just right, LW. Chocolate before everything else… perfect!

I’m having one of those days and just eating, eating, eating everything in sight. I know I would eat that whole plate if it was placed in front of me. I’m grateful it’s just a cyber plate—my hips thank you.

Sandy February 21, 2007 at 5:53 pm

You’re my kind of girl! And when I get *desparate*, the chips are just as good … like right now as I’m reading this I’m munching on some:)

Cyndi February 21, 2007 at 8:46 pm

Okay, I think “over the hump day cookies” (or cheesecake, or brownies) needs to become a weekly event. These were SO yummy! Thank you so much. :) And, I’m with Terry. A cyber plate of cookies is better for my rl hips, LOL.

Thanks. They will go great with the coffee I am sipping right now. :>)

They look better than they taste.
:( But thank you for the cyber snack, it was much appreciated.

There’s NOTHING wrong with the kids wearing jeans two days in a row–we’ve certainly been there and done that (my son even did it with his socks yesterday, and I have to admit, that’s a little on the gross side, but you do what you have to!).

And, there’s NOTHING like chocolate as an attitude adjustment!
