Just a short note to let you know that I am still alive. I have let this personal blog go for awhile. It all started when life turned upside with some family health issues (which are good now) and then on top of that I accepted a full time job in January. With this full time job, I work during the summers 7am to 6pm four days a week with a three day weekend. Fridays are nice but I am pretty tired from the previous four days. Adjusting to a new schedule and keeping up with my three teenage boys who seem to go in different directions these days is taking all the energy I have to give.

Facebook, Google+ and Twitter are a lot easier for me to maintain right now. I still am posting book reviews on my book review site, but not as often as I would like. I am hoping to change that as soon as I go back to 8 to 5 days once school begins.

This year is also my oldest son’s senior year. Not sure who is more excited/anxious about it. As I was walking around the stores yesterday looking at school supplies, I kept thinking next year I will be looking for items to furnish a dorm. Can we say IKEA trip!!! It is going to be an emotional, exciting year!

Just wanted to say hi, that I am still alive and feel free to drop me a line anytime or look me up on Facebook, Google+ or twitter!

Lori, so glad to read that all is well. Believe me, I understand the limited time available when you’re working full time. I’ve had that same problem but I don’t have young sons to deal with. How exciting to have one in their last year of high school. You look way too young, btw. :)

You are missed but I do get to keep up a bit on Facebook and Twitter.

    Much love to you friend,
    Debbie

It seems a lot of bloggers are blogging less with the advent of Facebook and Google+. I haven’t gotten into Twitter yet but I am thinking about it.

My youngest is a senior this year, and I am trying not to get morbid about all the “lasts” ahead — but it is giving me pangs!
