5 Reasons Why I am Loving Windows Live Writer

I have been hanging out on Darren Rowse’s (author of 31 Days to build a Better Blog) new Problogger.com Community and I read how many people were writing their blog posts on Windows Live Writer. I had heard of Window’s Live Writer but never gave it a second thought, but after hearing some great reviews I decided to give it a try.

Below are 5 things I have loved so far:

I was just shown this links if you do use Live Writer http://gallery.live.com/

1. You type your post on a page that looks like a Microsoft Word Document, but It allows you to manage multiple blogs, preview posts, and posts your post for you. You can even set a publish date for a future date and designate categories all inside Windows Live Writer.

2. Windows Live Writer makes inserting photos into a post easy.  There are also some plugins you can download so you can access photos on Flickr.  Once you insert the picture, Windows Live Writer allows you to modify size, borders and apply graphics. (see example below)

This colorizing and frame was all done inside Windows Live Writer.

The rounded corners, the watermark were all completed inside Windows Live Writer.

Ok you can say it…THAT IS COOL!

3. Not that I use this feature that much, but it is still  VERY cool.  It allows you to insert a map very easily.

Ok once again…OOOO AHHHH!

4. Windows Live Writer works with other weblogs including Blogger, LiveJournal, TypePad, WordPress (and many others). Need I say more?

5. Lastly if you are like me, once you sign on to the internet you become distracted easily, Windows Live Writer is easy to start up and allows you to complete your posts without the additional distractions.

No they did not pay me to write this, but dang they should have! ha!

The Testing of a Marshmallow

This video will crack you up, but the message is strong.

This is a perfect illustration of temptation and the hope in future rewards.

“So if your faith remains strong after being tried by fiery trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole word.” I Peter 1:7 (NLT)

Would love your thoughts!

10 Reasons Why I Love Fall

1. I love the colors of Fall.  In fact my house is decorated mostly in fall colors.

9. Presents for my birthday.

Just wish the presents did not come with adding another year to my life, especially since I only have one more year in my 30′s. But we won’t talk about that, k? This is what my sweet hubby is going to get me.  He forgot the account was in my name, so I received the confirmation email after he ordered it.  But I don’t care I love early birthday presents (my bday is not until the 19th). I am giddy with a capitol “G.”  Any suggestions for Apps?
