Fall Into Reading #2

The Body In The Library by Agatha Christie

Just finished reading the second book on my “Fall Into Reading” list. This is a perfect weekend or day at the beach read. I love the way it is written. I am not going to review the book, because I am going to assume most of you know Agatha Christie. This was a was a good book. And you know the butler always does it =) (just kidding)

When I review books I am not going to give anything away or really tell you about the story, just the type of books and what I thought of it in general.

  1. Can you believe I have never in my life read an Agatha Christie book?! Glad you enjoyed it. I just finished the first on my list this weekend.

  2. I read so many Agatha Christie books when I was nursing Rachel hat I stared to think mystery into everything, and I started to notice the similar patterns. I hate it when that happens. I go so far overboard with my reading that I get sick of the formulas. I still love Agatha Christie but added a lot of other writers to the mix to keep from getting murder on the mind. If you like her I would suggest you try Dorothy L. Sayers who was a Christian (contemporary and friend of Tolkien and C.S. Lewis) who also wrote secular mysteries. Very good stuff.

  3. Oooh I love Agatha Christie! Haven’t read her in a very long time, though. Glad you are enjoying the Gods & Kings series, too. I love Lynn Austin.

  4. Youre making progress! I’m still on the first one, but determined. If Katrina hadnt started this I wouldnt even have that much done. BTW, I dont think I’ve ever read an Agatha Christie!

  5. Somehow I’ve never read Agatha Christie either — need to put her on one of my next reading lists!

  6. I love Agatha Christie. I think I’ve read most of her works. I’d have to say that the Murder of Roger Ackroyd is probably my favorite book that she wrote. It totally “got” me.
